It has been a while since my last project, and finally at last another bear! I have been commissioned to make a polar bear in time for Christmas! I've been sketching up some rough blue prints on the computer while I wait for the supplies to arrive. I hope you are excited as I am to see the finished project!

It's been a while. . .
It's been a while since I last wrote for my blog. In that time I went to Germany, started my sophomore year of college, and started working with clay again. I was kind of bummed out from working on crafts since I did a swap with a lady who followed my blog (I gave her one of my handmade dragons) and she didn't keep up with her end of the swap and never thanked me for my dragon. Needless to say I was upset and felt cheated.. I always expect the best out of people and all of the other swaps I had done in the past had been a wonderful experience. I'm not going to let one person crush my spirits though so I am back again crafting and making things! Last week I took up a clay class again and started working on a tiger face, its pretty small only slightly bigger than a house cats face but I packed a lot of detail into it. It's not perfect by any means.. I was actually thinking of throwing it out and starting over but I was convinced to finish it and I am glad I did. It feels great to be working with clay again.

Zebra Burning
Hi there everyone!! Spring is here, although its still unusually chilly in Florida for this time of the year. I have a week break from college so I plan on going to Universal studios with my friends, the beach with my sister and camping this week; I am super excited! In the art world I have been busy making a zebra wood burning for my good friend Anastasia who's attending a cooking school out in Arizona. It's been a while since I picked up these tools so I'm afraid I'm a little rusty, but I do love the effect of the paint and the different shades of the burned wood together. My next project will be a monkey painting for my sister Amber who is expecting, she is making her nursery safari theme. I have already begun the sketches so I will be sure to post them next time. Have a great week!!

Keeper of the Castle
Hi there everyone! Today I went to the outback with my sister and got a blooming onion, afterwards we stopped by at the craft store just to browse and I ended up bringing home an entire castle! I also found a little treasure chest which I stained a darker color and then painted. I cannot wait to start painting the dragons new home next!

A few more dragons, some paint, and then this thing will look great!
I forgot to take a picture of the chest before I painted it
so I found a picture of one similar.
A dragon egg nearby that I am working on.
You can't see the little map too well here in the picture but
I spent a long time letting it soak in tea, and then I burned the
corners to give it an "older" look.

Hey there Bloggers! It's almost Valentines day and Cupid has been searching for love in all the wrong places! This little dragon is 3.5 inches long and has a wingspan of just 4 inches. I had lots of fun taking the pictures I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

Autumn seems a little annoyed by the little romeo.
Time for a nap.
Back to the search!
Cupid is wondering what could be in that cup?
Not much!
Cupid curled up with a penny just so you can see the size.
